Travel from Venice to Dubrovnik
Hello All-My wife and I will be traveling from Venice to Dubrovnik in late September and wanted to find out the best way to do this. I know that there is a bus from Trieste to Dubrovnik, but does it run everyday? Can I purchase tickets for this on-line? Is there a better way to get to Dubrovnik from Venice this time of year?

Is there a better way to get to Dubrovnik from Venice this time of year?
If by better you mean quicker, in late september Croatia Airlines still have some direct flights from Venice to Dubrovnik but not daily.

More romantically and much slower of course so not sure about 'best' - Jadrolinija ferry from Rijeka to Dubrovnik and prior to that coach perhaps to Rijeka from Venice...or if memory serves me correct Rovinj can be connected by ferry too from Venice and then it's a short land hop to Rijeka.Regarding coach tickets - no they cannot be purchased in advance but coaches travelling route 8 - the Dalmatian coastal road - are very profuse. You may need to make a change in Split and / or Zadar or you may not.
