Paris Orly to CDG shuttleI was looking for this information here before I went, was worrying about it and how long it'd take, etc and in the end, found it so easy. So I thought I'd post my experience.
From the south terminal (Orly Sud), walk out of the terminal and you'd see bus stops. One of them go direct to CDG. Every 30 minutes. 19 Euros. Took 45 minutes at 9.30 am.
The bus goes from Orly Sud to Orly North before heading to CDG.

4ok, thanks for the extra info :)
that means it was also most likely school summer vacation time when you travelled, so even though it seemed like the traffic was heavy, I'd say it could be heavier in non-holiday time.
Moral of the story, dont cut it fine with any airport transfers here in Paris, whichever one you choose ;)

6so here it is. my plane from seville will arrive in 10.05 at orly and i need to catch another flight at charles de gaulle in 14.25.
would it cutting it a bit too short?
it's on november 9th by the way, so not exactly high season. or is there any danger from weather etc?
is the bus the only option or is there train as well? because as i can recall i boarded a train last time i was in orly and i think it ended up in CDG (i didn't go to the end though)
i'm a bit nervous but a bit reluctant to spend the night in paris as well.
thanks a lot guys :)

7land at 10.05. factor an hour to get bags if you need it. factor another hour or more to get from Orly to CDG. Where are you flying to? Is a 2 hour advance check in going to be ok?
I always recommend train (orlyval + RER B) over bus for this, unless you are lugging heaps of bags and have heaps of time.

845m for the bus sounds OK but the highway from orly to Paris (A6) is notorious for traffic jams. I have been caught there many times. I am not sure if there is a bus lane- I don;t think so which means the bus could get terribly stuck. I'd take the RER. However, 4 hours 25mins between flights should be plenty- even by bus especially because by 11 the traffic will have calmed down so you should be at CDG well before 12.
