You sound just like my mother when my brother flew to UK to do his OE. There was a hijacking at Dubai where he was transitting through. Words of wisdom from her--"Dont worry, they only hijack planes going the other way".

Hell always choose the most dangerous airline you can its so bloody boring taking off knowing your almost certain to arrive. What are you hopinjg to die from somthing long and painful.

Seriously its no worrey I even flew Adam Air the day before they were banned everywhere and they were fine. Indo Air Asia isnt in the same ball park there well OK.

In general most indo carriers have cleaned up there act a lot and Indo Air asia was never a problem anyway.

Safety is our utmost priority when it comes to operating an aircraft. Sure, some pilots manage to do some crazy stuff on our flights, but they get their just punishments just as any other offender would when they do crazy stuff that affects others. So You have choose good fly when go to travel.

Air Asia : A budget flight, so far ok; you can also check citilink.co.id (Budget flight, of same group with Garuda Airlines), or Batavia airlines for local domestic flight. Don't worry too much, believe or not, it's our FATE afterall, :-):-)....

Well, if the plane goes down, you'll get your name published in the papers .. and maybe even your Facebook profile pic. hehe .. relax sir, there are literally thousands of flights operating in Indonesia on any one day and they all, more often than not, arrive in one piece.

Air Asia just started a big fare sale that lasts until July 3.
See their website.

Being a really nervous flyer myself and having booked a flight with Indonesia Air Asia (mainly because I thought they're just Air Asia, which I flew from BKK to KUL with in the past) I have to say I don't find it very helpful or reassuring most of you write here. Really. :-(

Well, having done the flights and back off holiday it is safe to say that the 2 Indonesia AirAsia flights I took were quite possibly 2 of the most pleasant flights I have ever taken!

Thanks for reporting back about your flights. Looks like I may be booking Indonesia Air Asia soon and was curious about them too.
