AckeepodNo, I do not recall a poster named Sasha.
I also am glad to hear of a budget hostel in Kingston, but I will keep an open mind on it until someone that has actually stayed there comments on it.
I am also for Scotty General giving good info on Kingston, as long as he does not promote his business in the same post.
ONE LOVE !!

Sasha was TivertonHouse's real name. Jamaica Escapes was his business. He helped me plan a lot of trips back in the day, and never made a dime off me as his help was not booking a villa for me, it was more to do with places to go and things to do. He did that on b boards and also privately by email.
He was a good guy. I wonder how that business is doing without him, it is still around but the new people don't participate on b boards like he did.

Hi again :)I'm now enjoying my time in Jamaica. By the time my project is done, I will have visited Ocho Rios, Negril, Kingston and Treasure Beach. For my last 5 days I'm thinking of going back to Negril or to Montego bay (since im leaving from the airport there....)
Any good ideas for those two places? :)

If you've already been to Negril you know if you like it or not. If not, check out Duncans Bay (not far form airport), quiet and cool place to hang out, or if you are feeling up for adventure, go to Portland - sounds like you won't get to see it unless you do it then, and it is WELL worth your time. Ivanhoes is Porty is a good budget options but there are lots of cool places to stay and TONS to see and do.
