Check this out! For the uninitiated (ie normal dudes who have a life) it shows the wind flows for SE Asia. If you look carefully, you can see the flow is a westerly one out of the Andaman Sea/Gulf onto Thailand. This is the first sign of the monsoon flow this year - up until now the flows have been from the east/north east out of dry old Asia. How cool is that?
Now by the time you click onto this it may have changed (I am looking at 00utc 24/03), it may be different. You would expect the approach of the wet season would see wind flows varying between wet and dry for a while. But the thing is, in late Nov, once the dry easterly flow set in, it did not change one bit.
Okay, so you are not excited. So how come you read this far, sweetheart?
