CDG to Gare St-Lazare by public transportI've looked at several options: RER to gare du Nord, then RER E, dir. Haussmann-St Lazare; RER to Chatelet, then RER A to Aubert; Roissy Bus to Opera, than walk from there.
If all goes according to schedule, my flight is due to arrive at CDG Terminal 2 at 08:30, and I know my way to the RER station. My train from St Lazare would leave at 12:10.
My question is which method might be quickest and easiest with luggage? Advice appreciated!

1Since the Magenta RER station is connected to Gare du Nord, the simplest route is the RER B to Gare du Nord, a walk through the tunnels to Magenta, and the RER E to Haussmann--Saint-Lazare. If you take the RER B to Chatelet-Les Halles, then you could walk through the tunnels to the Chatelet metro station and take metro line 14 to Saint-Lazare and save yourself the walk from Auber. If you're packing light and can easily schlepp your own luggage, then getting an above ground look at Paris by taking the RoissyBus to Opera and walking from there sounds workable. The RER B plus RER E would be the fastest.

4Many thanks for the replies! I live in a place where the weather is typically sunny, and I always forget that, with my luck, it might be pouring rain when I arrive in Paris, turning a relatively short walk wih luggage into an ordeal.
I also have memories of struggling through turnstiles with luggage, but I now recall that, more recently, it's been easier because there are doors that accomodate those who are traveling!
So, I'll take the advice about RER to Gare du Nord, then RER Magenta via nice protected tunnels (out of the rain) to St-Lazare!
