Ferries from Turkey to Cyprus

Hi to everyone,

I am looking for cheap ferries from Turkey to Cyprus and back. Which options could you recommend me? Any websites with connections and fares?

Thanks in advance!

I suppose you have a German passport. so you will have no problem to cross the Green line to South Cyprus and to go back the same way.

Be careful, because visiting Cyprus from Turkey not really good idea, because more then half Cyprus
"depend" to Greece and Turkey side is little bit strict.

Hello,

You can catch a ferry from Turkey at 3 places; Mersin,Tasucu and Alanya. I took the one from Tasucu and paid 126 TL for a return ticket (i was told it's a must). The return ticket is an 'Open' ticket so you can take things abit slow once you're in Cyprus. It's a fast boat which left at noon and arrived in Grine, Cyprus around 1430 hrs. Clearing the secondary immigration point was a breeze.

Hope this helps.

I agree with Sarulllika - we had an Australian and New Zealand passport. Because we entered Cyprus at Ercan airport from Turkey (being on the Northern side) we were not allowed across the border basically this was beaurictracial hypocrosy at its best). We understood at the time that had we of had a European passport we would have not been in the same predicament.

I was wondering if you could give me some information. My wife and I are coming there in November and are curious about petro and food costs. How much is petro there per liter? What is the cost of dinner in a typical restaurant? Lunch? Breakfast?

Any information you have would be really appreciated!

Thanks!

In the first paragraph above, I meant "from Turkey to Cyprus" and NOT "Cyprus to Turkey" - my apologies.
