I'm planning a little InterRail trip around some Eastern European countries this August.
My wishlist: Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Slovakia.
How are my chances of catching a bus from Split/Dubrovnik to any town on the coast of Montenegro, and then onwards to the Railway of Montenegro, which is supposed to travel through some breathtaking landscapes?
Anyone who knows anything about travelling those two countries, please help!!!

1There are buses from Dubrovnik to various towns along the Montenegrin coast (Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva, Bar). See http://www.libertasdubrovnik.com/voznired.pdf for current times, but they change from time to time.
To catch the train to Belgrade you can continue along the coast to Bar, or take a bus inland to Podgorica and pick up the train there. But it would be a shame to head straight for the train without taking some time to see the Bay of Kotor.
I know it's not what you asked but I wonder if an Interrail pass is a good idea for that group of countries. Slovenia and Croatia have limited rail networks, Montenegro has just one railway line, and domestic fares in the others aren't that expensive.
