Did you actually get a fare of P550 with tax included or did you just see the Go fare listed, without the taxes?I also imagine that a fare of P550 is extremely hard to get. I check Cebu Pacific fares often and don't remember ever seeing one that low, with taxes.
Also, you must not have read my message where I said it is P500 promo at the moment on the Superferry.

few people would want to do this by ferry unless they had a ton of luggage with them or really were counting the cost of every peso (the prices are not much different). Even ordinary Filipinos will normally fly these days. I have met Filipinos that live in houses with outside toilet and no running water, and who have been on planes, but not a night ferry.
