Please help me plan my first Eurotrip!

Hi!I'm planning my first eurotrip and I am travelling by myself as well!! Kind of intimidating planning my first trip alone and so many places I want to go but I am having difficulity planning a route and finding the cheapest way to get around. My travelling plan is pretty much the same as yours except I want to go to ireland as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking flying into london taking the train to ireland and then after ireland taking the train too France, Italy, then Spain. Does that sound reasonable?

if you are now in to Law School (or even if you didn't get there - maybe you met a sexy spaniard on your way and stayed), come back on here and tell us how you went.
give a bit of a trip report after your first trip to Europe - what worked, what didn't? what did you hear on here that was good, what was BS? what did you see you didn't expect to in both good and bad ways? how did your budget in terms of € and time work out? etc etc.
