I would leave some room for spontaneity at this point - I wouldn't reserve every single nights' accommodation. Sure keep a list as a reference, but don't commit yourself to a place every single night.

You may deviate from your itinerary, you may not like the hostel, etc.

If you have to look for a room for an hour, chill over a coffee and regroup/absorb.

Sometimes I get off a train about 6 pm, to find a room. No matter where. What diff does it make, where we bought a ticket to? Its the pearls, we're diving for. I've found cool places by accident and like minds.

Hi!

I'm planning my first eurotrip and I am travelling by myself as well!! Kind of intimidating planning my first trip alone and so many places I want to go but I am having difficulity planning a route and finding the cheapest way to get around. My travelling plan is pretty much the same as yours except I want to go to ireland as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking flying into london taking the train to ireland and then after ireland taking the train too France, Italy, then Spain. Does that sound reasonable?

Sabby14 please start with a search for europe itinerary, then read a guidebook. Post a new thread and ask your questions there.

...and when you ask your questions, please tell us how long you plan to travel around, which parts of France/Italy/Spain you plan to visit etc.

There are no trains between London and Ireland, and between Ireland and France, by the way - have a look at a map and you'll understand why.

HEY KYLE
(maybe if i shout, he'll hear me?)

if you are now in to Law School (or even if you didn't get there - maybe you met a sexy spaniard on your way and stayed), come back on here and tell us how you went.
give a bit of a trip report after your first trip to Europe - what worked, what didn't? what did you hear on here that was good, what was BS? what did you see you didn't expect to in both good and bad ways? how did your budget in terms of € and time work out? etc etc.

If you're going to be an international lawyer, you'll need to know how different cultures approach problems. Make this a people loving tour.

Otherwise your trip is just ABC another bloody cathedral.
