Cambodia in May/June - how about the weather?
HiI want to travel to Cambodia at the end of May/beginning of June, for 2 weeks. I am a bit concerned about the weather, after I read that it's already rainy season. So, how is it in May/June? Does it rain the whole day? Is it feasible, or should I choose a different season?

It can also rain in the afternoon; there are many micro climates in Cambodia; it all depends on where you are. Actually I find late March and April to be unbearably hot, and the rain is a welcome respite from the heat, since it is usually cloudy even after it rains.6
Lucky you! I was in Cambodia end June, early August and it hardly rained at all but it was very hot and humid, as it was in Vietnam also, but more so up North in Hanoi. June ,July and August are the hottest months to travel to these parts but it's also great that there isn't a million tourists around and I got to enjoy the wonder of the temples freely and unhindered.7
March, April & May are the hottest months in Cambodia. It will be 5 degrees or more cooler in August...
