mickih adds: There are public transit services the Swartz Bay ferry terminal in Victoria ($2.50 to downtown on rte 70) but not the airport.

re airlines, I'm impressed with new airline fly zoom, so far. Booked online paid for upgrade from 31"pitch to 36" pitch (I'm a big lad). confirmed within 5 mins, and they also added a free upgrade to premium class for return trip. Let you know later about actual flights from glasgow to vancouver. Am flying out thursday 13thmay.28
