Cyber/ Internet Cafes in Lithuania

Hi,

I'm trying to locate cyber cafes in Lithuania. Most of the online databases are outdated. Does anyone know how to locate the names, addresses, and contact information for cyber-cafes in the country? If not, do you know of a specific cafe in the area? Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you, Erin

Well, after the short "googling" i found a list of interneto kavinės (i.e. cyber cafes) in the republic of Lithuania, most of the cities: http://www.kaveikti.lt/index.php?page=list&cid=95
. And here is another list in another website (only clickable links): http://www.eb.lt/lt.php3?vid=74&sid=12
, and here is yet another list in yet another website (7 addresses): http://www.viskasturizmui.lt/imones/rubrika/S145
. Some of them may be gone, especially in Vilnius.
Eg this cafe was working last month: http://renginiai.penki.lt/default.aspx?Element=FirstPage&Action=Despina&TopicID=41
, it's near Tauras Hill, next to the trolleybus stop called "Lukiškių aikštė", in the centre.
This internet cafe in Alytus also seems quite alive: http://www.mysticalzone.lt/
, and another one in Kaunas (in one of the residential areas): http://www.eb.lt/lt.php3?vid=74&id=7419
. And according to this article ( http://www.elektronika.lt/news/computers/13591/ ), the cyber cafes in Vilnius are vanishing, mostly because of the foreign tourists, it's becomming too pricy for them (according to them).

Hi, if you will have wifi enabled gadget, you would not have any problems in getting free internet in the city.

Probably you can use this website: http://www.wifi.lt
