Rio to Florianopolis by air

Hi,

Does anyone know which airlines fly from Rio to Florianopolis. I've tried TAM and Gol / Varig but they're very pricey. Do you know of any others?

Thanks

I've been checking the prices of airlines on thsi route and they all come in around £250 return (900-1000BR). Very pricey. Is that normal?

Internal flights in Brazil are expensive. Consider bus travel.

For what dates?
For example, the cheapest GOL flight from Rio to Salvador is R$209, but around Natal and Reveillon, they are up to almost 800 reis.

It's for 23-30 January. I'm not aware of any festival at that time

As mentioned, air travel in Brazil is expensive. Much more than, say, flights in the U.S. for equivalent distances. TAM and Gol dominate most markets, though you can check others, such as Ocean Air, Webjet, etc. Or go by bus. TAM and Gol occasionally have sales to different locations, typically announced on a weekend, so check their sites on Saturdays.

But January is a very popular travel time for Brazilians--high season.
