train or bus from catania airport to palermoI'll arrive to catania airport on 21.08 at 10.20. from there I should go to palermo to spend 4 days there and then go to siracuse to stay longer part of my trip there.
I looked through trenitali site and realised that there is no direct train from the airport of catania to palermo and that the first available train from catania is at 14.** only. I don't want to stay for so long in catania.
By the moment I was unable to find any information on buses from airport or city of Catania to palermo.
1. Am I right that there is no trains from catania airport at all and in any case I must go to the city to take train?
2. What's about buses from the airport or/and from th city of catania? Can I find a time table on internet for these buses?
many thanx in advance.

You'd rather take a coach to go from Catania to Palermo (pullman in Italian). You can check Catania's airport website (http://www.aeroporto.catania.it/) for a whole list of bus companies.
One of the most popular one is http://www.saisautolinee.it/. To check the table, you have to go first on colleguamenti regionali with
Partenza : Aeroporto di Catania
Arriva : Palermo
Hope it helps ;)

5Correct, you'll have to go through Catania, as there are no direct, easy road-links between Palermo and Syracuse. The motorway goes through Catania, and thus, so do the buses.
But what are you doing going from Catania to Palermo to Syracuse? Syracuse is less than 1 hour from Catania airport. So you'll go two hours Catania to Palermo, then two hours Palermo to Catania, plus 1 hour Catania-Syracuse?
