15Well, safe travels my friend. Have a beer for me in Cuba, and keep us posted from time to time.

16There is a radio show on KFBK on the weekends. It is called the Travel Radio Guys Show. That had so guru on from Ashland, Oregon on their show. He said emphatically that you could not enter Canada from the U.S. if you had a DUI on your record. Never found out the guys name, I even emailed the show and they never got back to me.
My friend in 1992 got a DUI near Concord, CA. In the last five years he had been to Canada twice. He has flown in to Calgary and got through Customs with ease. Just a couple of years ago he flew to Buffalo, New York and rented a car and went to Toronto. Both times he has entered the country twice with no problems. He plans to go to Detroit in the near future. He plans to cross the Ambassador Bridge to go to Windsor and Toronto.
