istanbul airport (attaturk) - luggage lock up?

Hi
We're off to Istanbul for 2 days tomorrow, the end of a 3 week holiday elsewhere. Is there a safe lock up at the airport where we can safely leave our luggage? If so, do you have an idea of price? And where it is?

Thanks,
sammij

there is a cloakroom you can leave your luggage within the airport. it's in the main hall where people wait. turn right, and walk all the way, it's very close to Starbucks Cafe. i am not sure about the prices, it might be a bit pricey i am afraid.

B is right. Turn right after exiting the arrival and baggage terminal (customs) and look for Starbucks about 200 feet south, turn right after exiting thru the sliding glass doors you pass thru to exit the baggage and customs area. Just before Starbucks, on your right, will be the luggage depot. At last check you can drop your bag for about 10YTL (about $7-8 bucks) for 24 hours. It is cheap, safe and easy. Just make sure that their "pick up" hours are in sync with your outbound flight. They are usually open 7/24...just check to verify.
We, or friends of ours have used them many times with no hassle or surprises.
