Sechin seems to be very important, but I had never heard of it when I went to see Chan Chan/Hs Sol y Luna/H Arco Iris. Are Sechin’s ruins comparable (restoration or otherwise)?

Sechin is great (google for pictures!). The temple is covered in depictions of warriors and their victims with intestines hanging out or heads chopped off...
The Casma valley has an unbelievable array of old sites, covering both sides of the lower valley almost along its entire length. Also the nearby sites of Chankillo, Las Aldas, Mojeque have had their moments of fame in the recent past, with some unique discoveries.

Cerro Sechín is the one with the grisly carvings. Sechn Alto, Sechín Bajo & and Taukachi-Konkán, yet another nearby complex are different sites.
