Christmas card postage rates

What's the international posting crimbo cards rate to (i) North America and (ii) Europe? From Australia.

(PS If anyone can find this info on the go-round-and-round-in-circles Aus Post website then you will win a Crimbo card from me! )

We've paid $1.10 for cards to Seppostan. Horses mouth. Aren't you leaving it just a tad late?

Nah, Groo - the "card only" rate is cheaper than that! You've been ripped off. I'd be stormign the Uki PO demanding a re-education and trainign program. I think.

USA, Canada, UK, Greece, France are all $1.25 on the postage calculator here

Choose the country. Click on "postcard or greeting card", then click on "calculate" at the bottom. Easy peasy.

No kewpie doll I'm afraid Colin - The "Postage Assessment Calculator" for USA, Postcards/Greeting Cards link, gives the result - "Coming Soon" - yeah, so's Christmas! Why can't multi-billion dollar agencies run decent websites? Hmmm? Too many boomers clogging up the works, I'd say.

Don't click on that. Click on the little button right next to it (it defaults to that anyway) then click the "calculate" button right at the bottom.

Regardless of where you send it these days, the international card only postage rate is $1.10. Pisses me off that it costs the same to send a card to NZ as it does to the UK and USA.

And I've actually been in the post office and queued to buy the stamps, didn't rely on dodgy calculators!

Twas Eastwood where I purchased the stamp and posted the card, not Uki, but I concede that my memory may be in error and perhaps I did pay $1.10 and not $1.40. I will track down last Thursday's trousers and look for the receipt.

You are confusing two separate rates, Col.

The postcard and greeting cards rate which, yep, is on the OzPost site, is the all-but Nov and Dec rate.

There is another, lower, Crimbo-only rate (or cards to people who are co-operative enough to have a b'day in Nov or Dec; or for people who take advantage of it and send all their greeting cards in Nov & Dec irrespective of actual birthdates etc. That's a tip for super-savuli to take on).

Arghh, ryb, you said the birthday word. Just remembered it is BIL's birthday tomorrow and there is no way a card will make it to the UK in time. And what's worse, I was speaking to him on the phone today and didn't mention it either. Damn pregnancy brain.
