Food in Mae Sot

Hi

Have been here a while and if you have had enough of Thai food - the night market is good, try the following...

Aiya for good Burmese curries and food in general
Casa Mia for pasta and pizza
Daves for breakfast

and for nice Indian food served by a lovely family try Rhasmi Restauant in the undercover food court next to the Siam hotel in the gem market section of the main street.

Oh, you two fellas know each other?
No, CHMMan, i have been in oz since dec, got no $ for travel, and am happy not to be a foreigner for a while. And i adopted an old cat which means no long trips for a while.
My heart does do a little flip every now and then though, got so used to moving around ;0)
Can't complain though, where i live is paradise.

Ubon Ratchathani near the Cambodia border? Love it there. You sure get around on some great trips to some of the most scenic parts of the country. Good for you.
They have nice vietnamese food there, not as saa pie cee as thai food, you like it?
But they also have some ok foreigner food, a couple of expats there living the quiet life.
My thai improved a lot there in the NE....
All the best and safe travels! Maybe see u next year!

Back on topic, Bai fern is a good place to eat, and very nice people there as well.
