First Time

Hi there ...
Next year I'll be taking a new step ... that I have always wanted to do ... travelling alone.
But ... need some help here.
Bout the check in and out thing.

Heard that this new airport in bkk is huge and with long long walks to reach to the customs and ..... etc.
So is there anyone that can assist me by giving me ... umm .. steps or tips or guide or a picture of the situation so that I can manage to get myself check in or check out from that airport?

Really hope someone can help me.

Thanks!!

Mei Jean

Not a problem. Took me fifteen minutes to get off the plane, grab my stuff, clear customs & get a taxi.

  1. 1, depends on where the gate is. Can take ages just to reach immigration.
OP, not to worry, everything is well signposted, and there are travellators if you get tired.

Yes, just follow the signs or other travelers. You won't have a problem navigating the airport.

I found the new airport easy to use last year. There are online maps and information. A useful site :

Hi

No need to worry :-) Yes, the airport is big and when I came there is May it was a bit of a walk. But there are signs so you won't get lost :-) And once you get through immigration and customs you should go to the lower level to grab a taxi to get into town. I think there are buses as well but I guess it depends on where in Bangkok you are going :-) Have a great trip.

You no longer need to go to the lower level. The taxi stand is now on the same floor as arrivals.
