This link worked for me. Let´s see if it plays out , as mentioned in the source article a lot Nepalese airlines has folded after a short time. Same thing with the Kathmandu-Lhasa bus , which still has a place on the same site : ran less than ten times , methinks.3
Hugh: Overland is far more interesting than flying! It's incredible travelling accross the plateau then dropping through the Himalayas to the jungles of Nepal. Do It!!4
mcjonesy, thanks for the feedback! that's what i figured. i am just planning my route to nepal but will definitely work on an overland route. once in kathmandu i have a sherpa who will take me on the anapurna circuit. i heard the EBC was underwhelming and i'm a road-less-traveled kind of guy. will be planning specifics over the next week so maybe will pop a question here on thorntree after doing more research. have a month to get to nepal and travel within so i'm pretty psyched! my dad was a peace corp volunteer there back in the '60's but i'm sure it's changed significantly since.Posted By: VenessaP -- 28-Jan-2010 15:01
