Macau, Hong Kong all have separate immigration formalities. However, most nationalities do not need to get a visa in advance for either Macau or Hong Kong. You will use up your visa for China if it is a single entry.

Best way to get between Macau and Hong Kong is ferry.

In Macau try Harleys

In HK, look at Chaskemp HK guide

From ZhuHai you can also get a ferry to Hong Kong at 'jiu zhou gang' (Nine Continent Port) too.
