Wow, dunno. The one the cable car goes up to is the 4506 m point. There is a big sculptured stone with "4506 metres" calved into it, you can stand next to it and have your photo taken. Quite amusing to see chain smoking Chinese tourists gasping for air sucking on the oxygen bottles that are for sale at the shop at the top of the cable car. Just head for the cable car and it will take you to the 4506 m point, it is not the summit though, there is a boardwalk beyond that point heading up a further 30 metres or so, and the summit is way beyond that, but it was closed when I went in Feb 2005 coz of a mini-avalanche.

The top of "jade dragon snow mountain" is at 4680m, but u need to walk up from where the cable car stops (a tourist bus at ticket office takes u to the cable car stop at 3xxx, then cable car takes u from there up to 4506m).

There's actually another "open-type" cable car nearby going to the other side of the mountain called "Yunshan Plateau", the scenery is totally different but very beautiful too. That one is only at around 3xxxm, from there u'll see greenery plains surrounded by big trees and snow mountain at the back.

Both can be done in the same day, as they're very closed in distance!
