We just had our teeth cleaned in November at Sakda Dental Clinic (www.sakdadental.com) in Chiang Mai for 500 baht. They speak English and boast of all kinds of services by Western-trained dentists.

Please avoid the Dental hospital in the Super highway, many people have complained about dodgy work done, myself included.
Some people have paid up front and decided to discontinue treatment, and were not refunded for remaining work not done.

There are, however, many good alternatives as recommended above, I have a great dentist in Bangkok , best in the world i have ever had ;-)

Good luck with your wisdoms, hope it goes smoothly

Grace is the "premiere" dental clinic in Chiang Mai, where many farangs get their work done (a friend of a friend had over 1 million baht of work done there and I used to go there when I was new to the area). It's the most expensive place in town and very top-notch, but still much cheaper than a western dentist. Now I go to "Fun Sabai" which has clinics near Moon Muang Soi 9, Tha Phe Gate, and the newest outlet on Loy Kroh Road. They are excellent and economical for fillings/cleanings, but for more serious work you may still want to choose Grace. Some of the doctors have degrees from America and Germany. I usually saw Dr. Jarunee Wattanakla for maximum expert service.
