ShenZhen

Hi all,

I am going to Shenzhen next Thursday from HK. I went there once last year but a HK people took me there so I have no idea how I could go again without her. I have some memory about the place i went to but no idea how to get there. I have a few question here, would u pls help to get me answer?

1. I stay in Kowloon (BP International house hotel), what station do I have to get off for the HK-ShenZhen border? If need to take 2 stops, what and what?

2. When I pass the Shenzhen immigration, can i walk to Lo wu metro station? (I want to take metro to Hua Qiang Lu)

3. Is the SEG Electronics Market in Hua Qiang Bei?

4. Is Shekou far from SEG Electronic Market? How to get there from SEG?

Thank you in advance for your kind answer

Catch the kCR to the last stop, which is Lo Wu. Walk through immigration and out of the station and you will see the Luo Hu metro stop. Hua Qiang Lu is about 4 stops.

I don't the SEG electronic market, but if it is in Hua Qiang Bay you should catch a bus on ShenNan Da Dao to Shekou. K113 or K204. It will probably take around 45 minutes.

Everything in moderation, even moderation.

Shekou is 30 minutes from Hua Qiang Bei if no congestion by car.
Better take a taxi, in non-peak hours, because local buses are difficult to use for foreigners.

But very often there is congestion by car.

I'm English mylogin. and have no problem at all using local buses.

Where did this come from anyway? I don't remember posting #1. Maybe that'll teach me to post on here after spending all afternoon at a Danish wedding.

Oh I got the answer just now...

-------------------

Huaqiang Bei Rd
Includes the SEG Electronic Market, Huaqiang Electronic Market (hi-tech products such as computers, software, electronic products including digital, audio-visual and telecom products). Also fashion shops and restaurants.

Remember that the "last stop" on the KCRC is no longer necessarily at Lo Wu. The line now splits one stop before Lo Wu, with some trains going to Lo Wu and others going to a new border station at Lok Ma Chau. Make sure you're on a train headed to LoWu; if you're on a Lok Ma Chau train, your last chance to switch is at Sheung Shui.

Also, remember that KCRC will become the MTRC next month.
