Shanghai to Yangshuo

Hi everybody!!!

We need an advice. We are in Shanghai at the moment and planing to go to Yangshuo in 2 or 3 days. We know is a long train trip and that's why we want to make a stop between these two places; but we don't know where!!!! Nanchang? Changsha? Maybe better a small town??

We love amazing landscapes; peaceful and quite towns, minority ethnics, local celebrations...

Thank you in advance!!!!

I would go straight through. It might be more trouble than it's worth to stop somewhere in between. And then you have an extra day in Yangshuo.

Agree with #1. There're budget airline flights for Shanghai -- Guilin, if you want to save some money.
Cheers!

#4: There's only one -- Spring Airlines. You'll need to be a competent Chinese reader to use the site, and you'll need to have a Chinese bank account with e-banking enabled to buy tickets. It's not really set up for foreign travellers.
Cheers!
