Tibet Jeep Tour / Tour Operators?

Hi! I'm a solo traveler, expecting to arrive in Lhasa 23 November.

I've heard that there are quick 4-5 day jeep tours from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and back. I was hoping to depart early the week of the 25th, but am on a somewhat flexible schedule.

I'd appreciate any information on what these tours cover -- from typical destinations to what gear is provided, if any. Would also like referrals of reputable tour operators who can help me arrange this.

Or if others have similar plans, maybe we can meet and together figure this out?

In winter time, Chinese pay Y2800 for an EBC tour (4 days) not including the permits, hotels or food.

For foreigners, you should expect to pay a bit more, perhaps Y4000 for a similar tour. The transportation is usually a 4500 Landcruiser.
