Vietnam consulate for visa; Guanzhou or Nanning?

Hello,

I see that Kunming has a Vietnam consulate, but that's a bit out of the way for our route. Has anyone gotten a visa from the Guanzhou or Nanning consulate? The office has a website, but it would be nice to know that we can definitely get a visa there: http://www.vietnamconsulate-guangzhou.org/en

Thanks in advance.

Try doing a search for the information. I believe that both the Guangzhou and Nanning consulates process visas.
Cheers!

Listen carefully to my speech, and let this be your consolation.

Depending on your nationality, you may be able to enter Vietnam without obtaining entry-visa in advance. This is the case for many EU passport holders, so you'd better check it out. I am a Danish passport holder, and can get an entry-visa upon arrival in Vietnam, and without any costs.

Yes, there is a place where you can get a visa for Vietnam in Nanning. At least I was able to get one there last year in Nanning. The office was located on MInZu Da DAO. It is on the main street that runs past the Walmart Plaza. As a point of reference if you start out at Walmart you would go down Minzu DaDao about 2 miles and you past over the Nanhu Lake . I think 2 light past the Nanhu lake you need to stop and cross the street. The visa issuing agency ( not sure if that is the Vietnamse official consulate) should be just three or four doors before that 2nd light. If you do a search like Ellyse suggested there is more info posted on this subject. Good Luck.
