Accommodation....

Hi Guys

I'm travelling out to Thailand on 10 December and staying till 9 January. Initial plans are to stay in Bangkok a couple of days, move on to Pattaya to see some friends for a couple of days and then hit the road.

I don't want to book accommodation because it ties me too much but i'm wary of the time of year.

Is it going to be a massive problem to find somewhere to stay along the way?

Help appreciated.....and thanks!

No. Find a guesthouse thats listed in LP then walk next door for better price.

I have been in the unfortunate situation of walking around KSR for hours looking for a room during those months. It wasn't fun! Finally, I got all the way to Sawasdee on Soi Rambuttri who only had 1 room left!!! This is usually not the case. Just be prepared to wander around a bit.

your travelling in the absolute peak season so finding accomodation can be a little tricky especially if your travelling on a budget. be prepared to walk around as no. 2 said.

no never book ahead, it's piece of p*ss finding accommodation there. except when going to KPN for moon parties, you should get there in advance to get place to stay...only time i ever found difficulties getting accommodation
