2 Singapore dollars

is it worth my while bringing one to Asia even though I won't be going to Singapore?

can I spend it on a disposable lighter or something at Suvarnbhumi and get change in baht?

I like to travel light, so I don't want to bring it if I can't find a use for it.

callippo - keep the 2 SGD for when you next hit Singapore's fair shores at some point in the future - just drag the extra weight around with you till you need it, it's worth the effort ;-P

These researches increase the sum of our worldly knowledge.

I will attempt to spend it on Wednesday, and will post back here if anything happens.

no chance of spending Kuwaiti coins or low Indian notes in Bangkok, surely. But with bills of neighbouring countries, especially with decent economies like Singapore and Malaysia, I'm maintaining you have a around 50% chance of being able to spend the money without trying too hard. We'll see.
