I just bought a ticket from Moscow to Beijing. #1 is correct in that it takes 6 days. I cannot believe that it costs €40! It cost me £250. (around $500US) If you get it for €40 - I would be very surprised....and pissed off!! I am taking a 2nd class 4-berth sleeper..."Expect the unexpected" - Old jungle saying

I recently received this information from a Chinese travel agency. It is the actual price if you could buy such a ticket yourself at the train station. Expect a markup of 10% or more through a travel agency or CITS.
