Tour agencies out of Bangkok

I'd like to join an organized 5-7 day tour of Northern Thailand out of Bangkok. Can anyone recommend a value tour group or agency I can use? I am traveling with another person. Private tour not necessary.

I'm also looking for a reliable agency to book airline tickets out of Thailand/Cambodia. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

WHAT do you mean by tour? a bus, with a group of unrelated persons, with some guide, taking you FROM BKK along the sites there? does hardly exist:This is thailand, THE prime country for independent travel. ANY Thai agent can book flites and HTLs (IN the igh to medium bracket, NOT low-budget)also youve chosen wrong site: LP is THE travelguidebook series for INDEpendent=on your own travellers. try tripadvisor.com, thats mainly for USA from USA, with the type of lingo you only are able to use.

so you believe anything - on the news? on TV? in your guidebook? on this forum? good luck then - you'll need it!

bmta - easy there. Perhaps I wasn't too clear in my original post. I'm looking to do some short treks, see some villages, etc, that might be difficult to do solo. As I read in LP, there are guided tours. Ideally, I'd like to start in Bangkok and work our way up.
