Visa China - Double entry and 6 months validity

Hi
I am going to Cambodia 17th next week and shall then be in China for one week in November and for 20 days in early March. So I need a double entry visa with expiry not later than end March 2008 which means that a 6 months visa would do.
Anyone who have experience with getting visa with such a long validity period? Or is it likely yhat I have to apply twice ie one for each entry. I shall try Chinese embassy in Phnom Penh but it would good to be prepared. Hope somebody can help me.

Best regards
Sig

If you get a double entry visa with a duration of stay of 90 days, then the vaildity would be 6 months.

If you can get a 6 month visa with multiple entries, the duration of each stay would be 30 days and would also satisfy your needs.

What is your nationality? Americans can get a multiple entry visa good for 90-days each entry valid for up until a year since August 01, 2007. It is the same price as single entry (All visas for Americans are $100) unles you request expedited service..

If you are planning to go to hong kong you can get your china visa at JTA. I found they were cheaper than going to the China visa office and no huge amounts of waiting there either.

There is no way to guarantee that you will be able to get 90 days for each entry. It is routinely reported that people get 2 entries for 30 days each. To get longer periods of entry, most people recommend presenting an itinerary and be sure that your travel plans do NOT mention Tibet or Western China.

While many suggest HK as a place to get visas, reports suggest that the consulate there may not be as quick to issue longer periods of time as elsewhere.

Since I have taken the time to answer your question, it would be nice if you took the time to respond as to whether the information was helpful.

Thank you all of you but there has been some misunderstanding.
I need visa for 7 days in China in November , then I leave China and come back to China for 20 days early March 2008. I am not staying 30 or 90 days in China which somebody think to believe.
My point is that when I apply for visa end October I want the visa to be for double entry covering both visits to China. This means that the visa has to be valid for 6 months which is the period needed for both the stays. If that is possible I dont have to apply twice.
Anyone who knows?

Best regards
