Where best to buy Tibetan Ginseng-Chengdu? Or....

A couple weeks from now, Mrs Z and I will be in Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou parks. She especially, can get ill from altitude sickness. In order to offset the FX of potential altitude sickness, we have the ubiquitous Diamox. But we hope to rely more on other remedies, such as Gingko Biloba, the green capsules of which served us so well last year in the high Andes. I tried also to buy some Tibetan Ginseng here in Toronto at our sizable Chinatown. NET reports spoke of it in capsule form, 'Hong Jian Tian' (aka 'Nuodikang'). *Question: does anyone know of shops in either Beijing or Chengdu that sell this product? And has anyone tried it? Was it effective?

I think it should be "Hong jin Tian",not "Jian",it is good, many people have that kind of pills when they go to high altitude, you can buy it easily from most of big pharmacies in Chengdu.

Hong Jing Tian should be sold in Chengdu, if not Beijing. Chinese characters: 红景天

I took it when I went to Qingjai & Tibet for a whole month in July. I didn't get any altitude sickness, whereas some of my students did! Totally unscientific result as I didn't get AMS in Zhongdian 2 years ago either. Readily available in Chinese pharmacies in GZ Province too.
