Everest Base Camp (Tibet side)

My Nepali travel agent says the road to the Everest Base Camp from the Tibet side is closed from late October due to snow. Is that true? I'm thinking of going there in November.

No its not true, it can be for a shorter time. many people go there in the winther. What the nepali agent is doing is probably to cover him self in case its closed at the specific time your going. head to Lhasa and make arrangements from there to visit Everest.

No, this is not true. I go to the Tibet side EBC nearly every winter. Only one time did I see snow on the road and it was very minimal. You should have no problems going in November.
