Beijing hotel/hostel

After a long searching period I must take the decision about a hotel in Beijing , well located in a central area, with easy access to the main touristic interesting points , clean , not necessary luxury and with a good price
In my final list I have two hotels : "The Far East" and the "Beijing Guxiang 20 Club" , can you give me any advice ????
Thank you in advance !!!!!!

I've previously recommended Tang Yue Hotel which's quite reasonably priced and located.
Cheers!

Hi, you can try the Harmony Hotel. It is 3 star near the eastern train station, subway and the remains of the Ming City Wall. The area behind the hotel is all old hutongs. 15-20 minute walk to Tianamen Square. The hotel is clean, friendly and used to dealing with foreigners. One of the better 3 star hotels we've stayed in 2 visits to China.

I suggest you to stay in Beijing Drum Tower Youth Hostel. It is located in Beijing's best Hutong area. We spent a very happy time there in summer.

I'm going to bet that #3 and #4 are ads.
Cheers!
