Ban Kai Beach

opinions?? might be staying there for the full moon party.. beer bungalows in particular. anyone stay there? is the beach a good spot to chill out, swim etc and is easy to get to and from for the full moon party??

our options are limited cos alot of places are booked out already. were goen for the feb 22 moon party for 3 nights.

Similar question yesterday.
Very easy to get to the party - it's on the road to Hat Rin, with lots of passing songhaews.
Mind you, transport leaves from all over the island for the FMP. Sometimed expensive to return to some of the more distant ones in the early hours.

No problem. You will be fine. I am not sure about beer bungalows, but I spend quite a bit of time in the Ban Khai area. It is nice enough. As #1 points out, there will be plenty of transportation to the FMP. Check out the Buffalo Bar, and let them know that Mr. Mao says hello!
