We were in Ko Kood/Kut in March this year and there were very few people. We had a huge beach to ourselves. Ko Maak is busier than Kut but still pretty laid back. A lot more people on Ko Chang for sure. From there you can take day trips to see the surrounding islands. They usually have lunch at Ko Wai on those snorkeling trips.

Samet is small but you can stay in quieter spots and walk (or take a songthaew) to active areas.You hurt my feelings...both of 'em!
