guide for beijing

in beijing for 10 days tommorrow. Does anybody no where i could find and hire a good english speaking guide and roughly how much it will cost me per day.

you can get one at most of the better hotels, or try the classifieds section in That's Beijing's website.

But you really don't need one. Try a day or two without one, you will be surprised how much more fun it is.

I regularly recommend an excellent guide I have been sending Shanghai Expats and Australian guests for over 2 years. Everyone is very happy with Qing.
You will not be taken to factory shops, or inflicted with any of the other scams that most tourists endure.
A low guiding price comes with half of your time spent in places you are not interested in so the guide and driver will be given a parking fee, they will still be paid even if you do not buy anything.......so just refuse to get out of the vehicle or you will be trapped for 40 minutes so they get their fee.
However Qing is well booked ahead, so she may have one or two free days in 10 days.
