'Quick' route:

If you have already gone through immigration (which I am assuming you will have done) then just catch the KCR to Kowloon Tong, change onto the MTR (Kwung Tong line towards Yau Ma Dei) and change onto the Tsuen Wan Line to Central at Mong Kok (you only have to walk to the other side of the platform)

Once at Central leave the MTR and walk behind Bank of China building to the peak tram stop (walk is about 10 - 15 mins).

From the peak come back down via tram or bus, then go to Hong Kong Station (which is right next door to Central MTR)
and catch the express to the Airport.

Scenic Route:

Catch KCR all the way to East TST and the hop on the Star Ferry across the harbour. Then next to Central Piers catch the open top shuttle bus to the peak tram station. To airport - same as above.

Thanks. Got it. I prefer the scenic route. Much simpler. It's cheaper by bus to airport. How do I catch the bus to airport? How many hours is bus ride to airport? Is it A21 bus?

From Hong Kong Island to the Airport take the A11 or A12 Airport Bus. Both travel through Admiralty and Central Districts. The A11 is quicker (the A12 takes a slight diversion before crossing the Western Harbour Tunnel) and takes about 45 mins depending on traffic conditions.

From Kowloon take A21 Airport Bus (about 45 mins from Tsim Sha Tsui).

You can check full route details and fares here;

From Lo Wu to the airport by bus take the KCR one stop to Sheng Shui then from Sheng Shui KCR Station take the A43 Airport Bus which takes around 80 minutes.

From Lo Wu to the airport via Airport Express there are various options. I would suggest taking the KCR to it's terminus at Tsim Sha Tsui East. Use the connecting subway/moving walkway system to transfer to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station and take the MTR two stops to terminus of the line at Central MTR Station. Then use the connecting subway/moving walkway system to transfer to Hong Kong Station. It should take about 60/65 minutes to get to Hong Kong Station. Then take the Airport Express which takes 23 minutes to the airport.

Thanks. Where are the bus stops of A11, A21 & A43? Can we stop them anywhere in the street for us to board?

There are regular bus stops for A11, A21 and A43. These are big double decker buses. They will not stop anywhere. If you google citybus A11, you can find a route map with photos showing each bus stop.

there is no quick way for going from Lo Wu to Airport via the Express. You will still either need to make it into Hong Kong Station on the island, or catch it from West Kowloon instead.

If you want to bypass Kowloon and HK Island for the airport bus you can catch the E42 from Tai Wo (actually the terminus is in Tai Po Tauh behind "Serenity Park" estate). Tai WO is only 3 stops on the KCR from Lo Wu and the bus takes around 45- 50 minutes to get to the airport. It is pretty quick.

Hi. Which is better way from Shenzhen Lowu direct to Hongkong airport? 1. Sheung Shui KCR Station 1 stop, then take A43 airport bus. 2. Tai Wo (Tai Po Tauh KCR 3 stops, then take E42 airport bus. Can we ride E42 considering we have luggages? Thanks.

I'm not sure that it is quicker considering it goes over to Yeun Long direction. The E42 cuts straight through the mountains to Tsuen Wan at Sha Tin and is definitely a much quicker ride. And lets face it Sheung Shui to Tai Wo is only about a 10 minute journey.

I think for convenience sake the A43 could be better assuming the bus stop is closer to Sheung Shui station, than the E42 one is to Tai Wo.

But if you want to see the Peak as you initially stated, don't take either :-)

with the "quick" metro ride to central, it's really easy. i feel like when you read all the changes it sounds confusing but hk has a pretty idiot-proof system. i love my octopus card.

good luck at the peak. i was there on thursday. even though it was a beautiful day, something is up with the humidy/pollution and i didn't get much out of the roof. madame tussauds was a lot of fun though.
