NICE BEACH TOWNS IN ITALY ^-^

Hi everyone,

we are two girls in our mid twenties wanting to spend a week in Italy. We'd mainly like to hang out at the beach during daytime, have dinner at a nice restaurant in the evening and have a drink somewhere afterwards.

To put it in a nutshell: do you know any beachtowns which are not totally remote but also not completely overcrowded with manic package tourists / 24 h party people? Could you also please tell us how to get there? If you'd know any nice hotels on top, that would be heaven ;-) We are grateful for every little hint!

Your help is highly appreciated - thx!!

Whereabouts - N or S? And what do you mean by "remote"?

We do not really have a preference to N or S... As long as it is not to hard to reach (preferably by airplain).
"not remote" --> just something which is not totally quiet and far away from some restaurants, etc. THX!!

Ciao
Let me suggest Puglia and specifically Cisternino!!
Cisternino is one of the most amazing destinations in Italy, and you will be immersed in the daily life of a typical Mediterrenean town: one of the 100 most beautiful little towns in Italy and Slow City. A small town where many things are going on during the summer, musical festival, shows, and much more. Small but very busy and happy!!!
The beautiful emerald beaches are only 15 minutes away, and the country side with its olive and grape fields abound; the scenery is truly majestic with the pictureseque trulli popping all over the country side.
If you're interested in having a beautiful time in Italy to enjoy the slow pace, great food, amazing wine, and colorful and lively towns people who will make you feel at home.
If I have convinced you, come and visit us, we would love to have you as our guests, we have two beautiful and charming properties for rent, and given your age I think you may be interested in the "Casetta" .
“La Casetta “is an apartment nestled in one of the small alleys of Cisternino's Historic Quarter.
The apartment has a big living room with well equipped kitchen, one spacious bedroom, furnished in the traditional Pugliese’s style, and a cute bathroom, with a door whose height reminds guest that antique Italians were quite short…. The flat is surrounded by small shops and the best Cisternino’s restaurants, where it is possible to dine in the small alleys. We offer Italian breakfast in the main Piazza, whose charm is very difficult to forget for anyone who has been to Cisternino.
Adjourned pictures will be available very soon
For any more info and how to get there (closest airport are Brindisi and Bari) just send me and email: papinafree@yahoo.com

Tropea or Maratea (Calabria)
Peschici or Vieste (Puglia)

If you want the very best beaches, think Sardinia. Full stop.

You don't say "when", btw. This is, of course, the most important piece of information.
