There is one VERY famous Chinese Buddhist restaurant which has really delicious food. They have the 'fake' chicken etc and everything is absolutely delicious! It's west of the Chen Jia Ci (Chen Family Temple) (stop in for a visit, but don't buy anything) and Metro stop of the same name. Continue along ZhongShan Lu until the next major intersection, cross the street still heading west and then go up this street to the right(north). It's off the first alley which doglegs and will be straight ahead after the dogleg. Ask someone to write down 'Buddhist restaurant' in Chinese for you and you'll be fine. You could write to Meiguoren here on asiaxpat.cheers from Ruth
