Travel agencies in Beijing

It would highly appreciate if you could provide me with any reliable travel agencies for arranging permit to Tibet, train ticket to Lhasa or/and for booking tour if needed. I only know Leohostel so far.

Many thanks,

Lien

Was assisted by local agent in Beijing recently, but not sure if they can help with regards to Lhasa.

Do e-mail me if you want the agent's contact details, no harm asking i guess.

I was planning on using LeoHostel, but apparently, richardwakefield booked a train ticket well in advance with them, and forwarded money via western union, and LeoHostel only bought the ticket when they arrived to pick it up. Defeats the purpose a bit, doesn't it? Guess, you just have to make sure they buy it in advance. For the permit, he recommended this as well: PERMIT - tibettour2001@vip.sina.com (email them, they're in Beijing - needed a very basic Lhasa tour. But very reliable).
I'll still be staying at leohostel, but will be a bit cautious with them. Their fees for the visa are meant to be ok, according to Losang. I'm there in late October, so if you want to share a 4WD tour, let me know! I'll be posting a bit later for companions, anyway.
