Who told you that? I googled some visa websites that all said the same thing:2
The issue is the length of validity of your visa. I think the standard these days is 90 days, but the person who told you about the "couple of weeks" problem may have had a short-validity visa. If you are applying in HK for your Chinese visa, you should get 90 days pretty routinely. (And the 90 days refers to the date of your re-entry to China the second time, not the date you then LEAVE China for the second time.)Posted By: VenessaP -- 28-Jan-2010 15:01
