applying for chinese visa in canada

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has applied for a 6 month multiple entry visa (either as a tourist visa or possibly business) and had success. I would just like a 6 month multiple entry (any class visa) to travel with. And I'd like to avoid extending my visa while I'm there, or doing the HK visa run.
I hold a license in acupuncture here in canada, which might help me with a business class visa?
Any suggestions, ideas to improve my chances for getting this visa would be appreciated.

Thanks

I easily obtained a 6 month double entry L class (tourist) visa from the Chinese consulate in Ottawa. Nothing special required; just my completed form and money. I don't know if it would be more difficult if you were looking for more than two entries.
