Ko Chang, Ko Phi Phi or Ko Samui?

I'm choosing between Ko Chang, Ko Phi Phi and Ko Samui for a week in Thailand with my gf.

Which do you think I should choose? We're looking for fantastic beaches, few people and cheap beachside huts.

Thanks!

Phi Phi is expensive compared to other areas of Thailand tho very peaceful and the beach is heaven sent...with crystal clear water I stayed at Phi Phi Island Village....
Samui can be quite busy where ever part you go tho Lamai is quieter that Chaweng.
Cant help with Ko Chang...but where ever you decide you will have a lovely time.

Phi Phi wins hands down. If your budget can stretch then look no further than Palm Beach Holiday Inn. There are options to suit all budgets but try to stay away from the Tonsai area.

That would be the smaller islands near Ko Chang. Ko Kood has the least crowds. The water at Ko Chang is not clear as it is in some surrounding waters and as it is on the crowded Phi Phi beaches.

Ko Kut/Kood.
Ko Maak is a small and quiet but the water is the same as on Ko Chang (not clear for snorkeling) but you are much closer by boat from Maak to great spots.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Seems like Phi Phi could be the best bet, although as Tafia points out I'm sure a fantastic time can be had at all three.

Koh Chang is dear and beach access is getting more and more restricted by overdevelopment

G'day!
