vietnam visa in nanning

...i see here on this thread that you can get a visa in nanning for vietnam...my old guidebook doesn't state this or where there is an embassy in nanning

..i would like to know where in nanning i can get it?.... how long it takes??... & how much?

...i can get it here in beijing but it is only good for 2 months after i apply..will be returning to beijing in mid october but only for a few days & the visa takes 4 working days ...apply on monday for friday receipt...cost is 350y

...or get expedited visa with 2 working days for 500y

...nanning will be my last stop for before vietnam in early november so probably my best bet

Have you tried calling the Consulate?

First hit for google search on "vietnam consulate nanning"

Please let us know what they say...

hongha has a post about this in the FAQ section of the SE Asia Mainland branch -- I think that will answer most of your questions.
