Best Provinces Weather-Wise in June

I plan on vacationing in China in June (2008) and I'm just starting to work on the rough itinerary. I plan on visiting the country 4 or 5 times over the next 10-20 years so I don't have to see everything on this first trip. I can't alter the timeframe (June) so I want to make sure I visit the parts of the country that have the best weater in June. This leads me to believe I should concentrate on the following:

Tibet
Sichuan
Yunnan
Guangxi
Guizhou

I plan on arriving and departing via Hong Kong. How's the weather there in June?

I'm primairly just sight seeing. No trekking, etc. What I mean by good weather is warm (not too hot) and little rain. What do you all think?

Thanks!

Hot, humid, sticky, with the odd torrential rainstorm and Typhoon thrown in for good measure.

Here's a more direct link to the China pages in weather underground. Choose the city you are interested in. Click on it. Then find the button for history. When you get there, change to monthly and choose June, 2006. There is a daily calendar down at the bottom of the page that will tell you everything you need to know.

not too hot

Most of China (the south, east and north) is hot in June/summer with temps often reaching the mid to high 30oC. The highlands in the west and south west can be cooler and have mild summers.

It is also very humid in China as well.

If there is no food, isn't that food for thought?

my girlfriend and i did a trip in north-western yunnan near the tibetan border over the new year. the trip was amazing and perfect for anyone wanting to travel off the beaten path, see some amazing wilderness, and to get a real insight into tibetan culture without having to cross the border. all the info is at the link below...
