Meeting Thai Girls

Hello..
I will be in Thailand in Late September and plan on traveling mostly to beaches and wilderness areas. However, I plan on spending a week or so in Bangkok. What are some good bars, discos,to meet local Thai girls? 21 to 30 age range. I'm not looking for prostitutes! Just a good place to meet a girl. Any suggestions or advice guys?

Austin Pub and Suzie Bar on Khao San Road are very Thai places that you could try. Some of the cafes/bars on Phra Athit Road (around the corner from Khao San) are also probably good places.

If you are planning on meeting Thai girls in bars/discos, your definition of prostitute will have to widen. Every Thai woman that hangs out in farang bars is only after your money, guaranteed. If you only want to get laid that's ok, but if you want to meet someone for a real relationship stay well clear of bargirls. Meet them on the beach or in the shops...

Try Tawan Daeng down the Lotus Tesco end of Narathiwat Road. Huge german style brewery/pub with 90% Thai clientele. Great place!

If you are looking to meet "good" Thai girls then stay away from the bars. Thailandfriends.com was suggested, it's not a bad idea as you can "vet" the girls to a certain extent - they will also be wary of you, as you are just on a short trip - one week isn't much time - probably the only girls that will give you the time of day will be the hookers.

Also, I would be very wary of girls you meet in known "farang" haunts. The less wholesome girls do target these places looking for a meal ticket.

I tend to head to the big shopping malls and hit a coffee shop or restaurant and just hang out. You can chat with a girl and quickly assess her - with practice you get to know what to look for.

You can meet Thai Girl from the internet such in the community website, or you can just search from Google like Thai Girl, there are number of dating website, community. It depends on your preference. If you like Thai bar girl, it is very easy to find.

Good bars or good disco is not good for a good Thai girl! For one week, your logical choice is paying the drink for a bargirl and pretends she is good & a real Thai girl.
